EVP & Managing Principal, Northwest
Matt Alexander joined SRS Real Estate Partners in 1998 as Managing Principal of the Northwest Region and is responsible for implementing marketing strategies, project analysis and lease negotiations as well as running the day-to-day operation of the company's San Francisco and San Jose offices. The Northwest region includes all of Northern California, Oregon, Washington and Nevada with offices in San Francisco, San Jose, Lafayette and Portland, Oregon.
Experience
Matt has an extensive 25+-year history in helping retail clients succeed. Through his long-standing relationships with national and local tenants, he is known as a responsive, resourceful advisor who consistently secures the best fit for his clients. Matt is skilled in bringing new concepts to market, creating and implementing national store development strategies and plans, as well as delivering multi-market roll-outs.
Matt’s clients extend from the state of California and beyond, giving him unique insight into the retail industry. For the past 16 years he has been the tenant representative for Bevmo!, responsible for managing their Northern California stores. Other representative clients include: Catherines, dd’s DISCOUNTS, Fashion Bug, Lane Bryant, Ross, Party City and Panera Bread. Matt is also the landlord representative for Market Street Place, a 250,000 square-foot retail center in San Francisco’s popular mid-market area.
